Foster Our Community
Foster Our Community is a place where Foster, Adoptive, and Kinship families can receive support & encouragement from other foster and adoptive families as well as from the community. It was created out of a need felt by several foster and adoptive moms in the Lake Township, Ohio area. We began meeting once a month and discovered we relied on the support that we received from being with each other. It also became very evident through conversations that there is a general lack of support for foster, adoptive, and especially kinship families. As a ministry we hope to fill the gap for families needing encouragement.
