HARTVILLE/LAKE Community Development

A local, non-profit corporation, HARTVILLE/LAKE Community Development (HLCD) was formed in 2019 by a small group of local business and community leaders interested in encouraging strategic economic development and improved quality of life for the Hartville/Lake Township area. The first strategic initiative was underwriting the development of a Community Vision Plan to revitalize the West Maple Street corridor from Downtown Hartville to the roundabouts at the Hartville Hardware, Kitchen, MarketPlace & Flea Market.
