First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, we create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do. We’re Building Game Changers through our junior golf programs.

Foster Our Community is a place where Foster, Adoptive and Kinship families can receive support & encouragement from other foster & adoptive families as well as from the community. It was created out of a need felt by several foster and adoptive moms in the Lake Twp., Ohio area. We began meeting once a month and discovered we relied on the support that we received from being with each other. It also became very evident through conversations that there is a general lack of support for foster, adoptive & especially kinship families.

GentleBrook is a not-for-profit social purpose enterprise with a vision of connecting people community. GentleBrook serves the following: Individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, Seniors, Our community, All human life is a sacred gift and most fulfilled in community with others.

The Hartville Lions Club has been active since 1946. We are dedicated to serving our community and the world, and we have a lot of fun in the process. Members are of all ages and come from all walks of life -- blue-collar, white-collar, professionals, farmers, homemakers, business people, and others.

A local, non-profit corporation, HARTVILLE/LAKE Community Development (HLCD) exists to encourage strategic economic development and improved quality of life for the Hartville/Lake Township area. HLCD is a partner organization of the Lake Township Chamber of Commerce.

Since opening in 1947, it has been the goal of Lake Center Christian School to teach all subject matter from a Biblical Worldview. Our students participate in global and local missions as they are encouraged to live lives of Service to Christ.

We are meeting the unseen needs in our community by connecting people through resources, & relationships to improve their quality of life relationally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually; Stabilization Housing Case Management Pastoral Counseling At-Risk Families and Individuals Veteran Services Community Services

OhioMeansJobs Stark and Tuscarawas Counties is a workforce development and training center in Northeastern Ohio. It provides resources, career workshops, and trainings to connect job seekers with employers. They have assisted 17,000 residents, 500 employers, and enrolled 133 individuals in high demand training. Locations are in Canton and New Philadelphia, Ohio.

Pegasus Farm creates a community that holistically supports and empowers people with diverse needs through therapeutic equestrian programs, vocational services, and recreational and social activities.

The Christ Foundation was started in 1971 by Jerry and Patricia Moore. Its main focus was then, as it is now, to help children in need and to point them to their savior, Jesus Christ. Over the years, The Christ Foundation’s reach has been far and wide – from aiding local ministries, schools, and churches to supporting preachers and missions overseas.
